High Quality Veterinary Posters for your Study or Clinic

High Quality Veterinary Posters for your Study or Clinic

Whether you’re a student, mentor or educator, Nursing Knowhow can supply a range of resources to make learning easier.

Among our collection of products is canine skeleton posters, including physical designs and those which can be digitally downloaded. There are a number of reasons to invest in posters, including the fact they help refresh your memory. A quick glance helps students to reinforce what they’ve learnt.

They can also make your space look professional and educational. A poster is an excellent way to create a studious atmosphere.

The Feline Skeleton

This Physical Skeletal Animal Veterinary Poster is ideal for decorating a surgery, classroom or home study.

There are two posters available: those demonstrating the skeleton of the dog and the cat. Unless you work in a more rural community, these are obviously two of the most common pets that veterinary professionals encounter.

Of the finest quality, this poster is made using a thick 350gsm card with a matte lamination cover. It’s ideal for hanging up in a veterinary practice or your bedroom for revision.

A cat’s skeleton is surprisingly not that different from ours, although they have 230 bones opposed to 206. However, many of these are identical to those in human beings (for instance, cats have 13 ribs while humans have 12). This beautiful illustration demonstrates the most common bones in the canine and feline patient.

The skeleton serves several functions in dogs and cats, including supporting and protecting the body, serving as levers for muscular action, storing calcium and phosphorus (and other elements), and serving as a factory for red blood cells and white blood cells.

One of the main differences between a cat's skeleton and a dog’s is that the vertebrae are less tightly connected. This means the spine is more flexible, and a cat's pelvis and shoulders are more loosely attached to its backbone than dogs.

Displaying posters in your veterinary clinic is a great way to give customers something to look at while they’re waiting.

If their cat or dog has an injury, it makes it easier for them to understand what’s happening to their pet. They can better understand which parts of an animal have been injured. Many people feel highly anxious when seeking veterinary assistance.

However, this does not replace veterinarian advice and is for informational purposes only. All information on our posters is based upon UK veterinary guidelines, if buying outside the UK you must follow your local or national veterinary guidelines and law.

The Canine Skeleton

Elsewhere in this range is this Digital Canine Skeleton Poster which is available in dyslexia-friendly blue and yellow.

It’s ideal for anyone with this condition who’s looking for materials which are pleasing to the eye. Since this poster can be downloaded anywhere, it’s highly convenient. Priced at only £4.50, it’s also extremely budget-friendly and can be printed in various sizes.

This is a popular design that’s ideal for a range of different settings.
